Hillary Clinton and Eight Belles

May 4, 2008

Hillary Clinton is the only woman in the political field this year.  Eight Belles was the only filly in the Kentucky Derby.  Hillary chose Eight Belles as her horse saying “Pick the Filly!”  If I told you before the Derby that one of these would come in second and then have to be put down, you wouldn’t know who I was talking about.

I find it totally sad what happened to Eight Belles.  She didn’t try to tear down the other horses in the race.  She didn’t go negative and try to wreck the race so she’d have a better shot next year.  She just ran her heart out, and collapsed.  It’s always sad when a horse gets injured in a race, and it’s even sadder when the horse has to be put down because she dosen’t have a good leg left to get into the ambulance.

I could also find it sad what is happening to Hillary Clinton, except that she’s not a horse.  She is trying to tear down her opponent.  She is trying to go negative and wreck Obama so that she’ll have a shot in 2012.  She’s doing this willingly and with malice of forethought.

So although it’s sad, I find a lot of irony in the fact that Hillary’s horse came in second and had to be put down.  This is what I think will happen to Hillary.  She’s already lost the race, she just refuses to admit it.  She’s doing awful things for her public image.  When this race started, I was a Hillary supporter.  I thought Barack Obama was going to be her Vice President.  Now, I don’t want her anywhere near the White House.  Her kind of politics is not something that interests me any longer.  There’s a new horse in this race, and he’s running a different kind of race.

Who’s got the needle?  Hillary needs to be put down.

Character, Honesty, Integrity – These are Vital

May 2, 2008

The President is someone who represents me, as well as every other American.  I don’t want a President who lies, deceives, manipulates, and fearmongers, because that is not who I am.  That is not I believe who we Americans are.

Hillary Clinton has attacked Barack Obama repeatedly about Rev. Wright, but this is a non-issue. Rev. Wright has said some things that appeared out-of-context to be quite un-American.  He recently said more things which insult me as an American, and Obama has called him out on it and distanced himself from the man.  I do not expect to see Rev. Wright visiting the White House when Obama is President.

Hillary Clinton has attacked Barack Obama repeatedly about Tony Rezko, but this is a non-issue.  Tony Rezko has given money to past Obama campaigns, and Obama has made matching charitable donations to offset this.  Tony Rezko is on trial for his crimes, and Obama is not even under investigation in connection with anything.  I do not expect to see Tony Rezko getting pardoned when Obama is President.

Barack Obama’s attacks on Hillary have all been about her policies.  He hasn’t gone through her past digging up unsavory figures and paraded them around.  He hasn’t piled on when others have done this.  Instead, he tries to change the subject back to the important issues.

I trust someone like this to run the country and represent me.

Lets debunk comments from a Ron Paul Support regarding Economy

February 1, 2008

Well, I was feeling rather bored today.  Moreso bored than usual.  Whenever I check the stats for the site, there is a little link to someone else’s wordpress blog.  It is a kinda cool feature, but I rarely click it.  Why?  Because I find that most people write garbage.  This headline got to me though…

Ron Paul Cheated Again During CNN Debate!

I read the article about how Ron Paul is a total hunk and the person would want to have mad monkey sex with him…wait no, vote for him.  I always get the concepts confused because have you ever talked to people that are REALLY interested in politics?  They are more passionate about it than having sex with a person of interest.  They get so vocal and excited, it almost seems as if they want to go to a rally, go up there, zip off the canadates pants and go at it!  No lie, if you don’t know what I am talking about, read some blogs about Ron Paul.  He has the most bizzare following!

Well, as I degressed there, what really caught me was a statement by some idiot.  Because I don’t care much about copyright laws, here it is :)

If America puts a President in place that continues to send our citizens to die in other countries America obviously doesn’t get it that America will soon run out of living bodies to send to war. Also they will not get it that America is flat broke. Every time the American government prints more money the existing money is worth much less. As the American government keeps printing more money the existing money soon becomes so worthless that a gallon of milk will cost $100, a gallon of gas will cost $400 and (in terms they can understand)
a bottle of beer will cost $300.

The milk, the gas, the beer really doesn’t go up in price. The money goes down in value that’s why stuff costs more.

Don’t you get it folks America IS OUT OF MONEY. AMERICA IS FLAT BROKE!
Every country in the world is stopping lending America money. The ONLY WAY THAT AMERICA CAN CONTINUE TO PAY FOR
ALL THE WARS IN THE OTHER COUNTRIES WE ARE FIGHTING IN IS TO PRINT IT. EVERY TIME AMERICA PRINTS MORE MONEY
YOUR MILK, GAS AND BEER GO UP IN PRICE A FEW MORE PRINTINGS AND AMERICA WILL BE FORCED TO SHUT DOWN. THAT’S NOT STUPID TALKING STUPID THAT’S A FACT ………. WAKE UP!!!
IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE COMMENTS YOU NEED TO QUICKLY FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN EXPLAIN IT TO YOU BEFORE YOU VOTE. IF YOU PUT A PRESIDENT IN THE WHITE HOUSE THAT CONTINUES TO GO TO WAR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL VERY VERY SOON NOT HAVE A HOME OR FOOD TO EAT. LOOK CLOSELY AT THAT HOMELESS GUY HOLDING UP THAT SIGN ASKING FOR FOOD MONEY. I KNOW YOU DON’T BELIEVE IT BUT SOON THAT WILL BE YOU! MY GOD PEOPLE ARE YOU REALLY THAT CONFUSED?

So, lets take this arguement apart, piece by piece.  First, the guy starts off with, we will run out of soldiers to send to war.  I don’t know if he has noticed, but America is dealing with an OVERPOPULATION problem!  Of course, I do not agree with the initial war, but I don’t see how cut and run tatics will work.  Regardless, we can stand to lose a few million people a month rather than a couple hundred and still be able to hold a war for a few years…

Second point, America is broke.  The whole basis of american economy is to run in a debt like status.  It is not overly suprising that our debt is so high, or that our budget is so high.  It is how the government was designed to run.  Of course, it would be great to balance the budget (again) and cut down some debt, but the end of the day, the government is supposed to be in debt.  I wouldn’t say that America, the richest and only super powerhouse in the world at the moment, is broke.  That would be saying something for the rest of the world.

Third point, inflation issue.  Of course, he doesn’t call it a inflation issue, for I don’t think he knows what inflation is.  Regardless, it is true that if you print more money, inflation will increase.  If inflation increases, you need to pay more for purchased items.  Of course, milk and beer are REALLY bad examples, for this applies for IMPORTS not domestic goods.   Now, we do import oil, which in return would cause beer and milk to increase in price, but it just isn’t a great example.

Forth point, crazy caps for no reason talking about nothing.  I DO NOT THINK THAT THIS TATIC WORKS!  PEOPLE DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO RANDOM CAPS SHIT AND DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.  RECAPPING EVERYTHING IN CAPS DOES NOT MAKE YOUR POINT ANY SMARTER.  IT JUST MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A MORON.  NOTICE HOW STUPID THIS LOOKS?  APPARENTLY YOU DON’T…

Fifth Point: he felt the need to call everyone stupid even though, I wouldn’t call his statements very smart!  I think he felt if he made everyone feel dumb about his venom rantings, it would make us feel like he knows what he is talking about.  Sir, I do not think you do!

Sorry comment man, you do not impress me!  Good day sir!

The double sided hammer makes Hillary Victory!

January 9, 2008

Well, I should of put money on this, because as predicted in another article, the Hillary train is now in full swing.  Who thought that so many women would come out to vote to ensure that the first good shot of a women as president would not fall out of contention?  Oh, pick me, pick me!  There is nothing more motivating than a woman cry.

Does that sound like a double standard?  Think about it!  I believe it was Romney(I don’t remember but it doesn’t much matter…) that got a little teary eyed and everyone said that it was one of the worst moves he could make! A woman on the other hand?  She can ball her eyes out and get a sympathy vote!  Why do we allow such a double standard in today’s society?  Last night, my wife was upset that her job would not allow her to work from home if our imaginary kids had to go to a doctor’s appointment while mine would.  She says it is her job to do that…not mine.  We still live in a much sexist society whether we like it or not.  With that said, this move just proves that we are not ready for a women president, or we need to realize that men are people too!  Take your pick people…take your pick.   I can grantee one thing, if any other candidate gets teary eyed, they would lose points rather than recover from a 11% loss in NH!

Hillary takes votes from Iowa, then attacks them in New Hampshire

January 5, 2008

After being defeated in Iowa, Hillary Clinton said in New Hampshire: “This is a primary election. You’re not disenfranchised if you work at night; you actually can come out and vote. You’re not disenfranchised if you’re not in the state; you can actually send in an absentee ballot.”

She just got votes from 29% of the state, and she’s slamming the caucus system like that? You’ll notice she didn’t say anything about these feelings a couple days earlier in Iowa. Of course, then 29% of the people wouldn’t have voted for her, because Iowans are proud of their caucus tradition.

How is she going to treat the country after we vote her into office?
