Perfect Pushup Review

June 19, 2008

For the last 21 days, I have been trying out the Perfect Pushup and was interested to see if it works. My father had bought one in wal-mart had had used it for 2 – 21 day increments and loved it. I figured I would give it a try myself.

First, what I like is the price. For 20 dollars (buy it in wal-mart and do not buy it online. This is one of the few items that it is cheaper in the store) it is definitely worth it. You get a chart that tells you what you should do for 21 day sets. It starts you out slow and builds you up.

Personally, I suck at push ups so I was only able to do 3 push ups normal style using the handles. Normal push ups, I am able to do around 10. This made me do my first 21 day set from my knees. After getting past the fact that I am doing girl push ups, I started the set and so far I am happy with the results. The next 21 day increment will also be on my knees, but I was able to do 6 push ups now compared to my 3 before.

Anyways, the directions give you options for how many push ups you can do. It provides directions for 0-50 push ups. After the 50 mark, you are on your own. It mixes up regular, wide, close and char exercises every other day until the 21 day set is over and you start from the beginning.

My goal is to do more push ups than my father. Right now, he can do 24 push ups! I got my work cut out for me. All in all, I find that the program works and is easy to stick to. I actually want to do my routine each day and love how I feel afterwards. I always had problems doing push up routines because I would end to do them daily and never give my muscles a rest. In good shape (like my father) or bad shape (like me) this program works for everyone. I suggest you go over to Wal-Mart and pick up a set and start pumping!
