About Erick

Erick grew up in Chicago where he spent lots of time playing any kind of games. When he was a child, he watched any game shows on TV he could find, his favorite being The Price Is Right because it had the most games. He grew up playing games and learning to program on the Commodore 64. He went to college at Northwestern University, where he studied Computer Science, being especially challenged by the artificial intelligence classes there. From 2000 - 2007, he worked at a local website development studio, which grew from 20 to 100 people during that time. Finally getting fed up with the corporate world, he turned independent and became a web game developer in March of 2007. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife and various pets.

One of his former coworkers is the webmaster of Seibertron.com, and Erick’s first web game was Heavy Metal War, which is still featured on that site. After that, he launched Kangaroo Boxing, Click Darts, and Acronomics. Each site has been more successful than the last. He has spent the last nine months learning how to make great web games, and is now very close to launching his next game: SimYard.
