I had the a problem finding out how to setup ping checks on external devices in Kaseya. I finally figured it out by doing the following:
Go to the Monitoring Tab
External Monitoring > System Check
In the Check Dropdown box select Ping
In URL to Poll enter the IP address of the system you want to check
Select the system that you want the test to take place from
Set the time and ignore time and then press the Apply button
Its as simple as that!
