Seascape Walkthrough and Solution

May 6, 2008

Seascape is an underwater adventure game similar to Where’s Waldo where you search for things in the picture. Use the knife to pry open clams and get pearls. Collect the skulls. Take pictures of underwater life with your camera. Collect extra gold coins and bars. Each scene also has something special to do.

-== Scene 1: Open the Chest, 4 Skulls, 8 Pearls, 4 Photos ==-

Open the Chest: As soon as the scene loads, there is a key located in the background. Get it. Go to the right where the chest is. Use the plasma cutter. Hold the mouse button down on the lock in the front until it glows red and the chest opens. Slide both bolts. Use the knife to pry open the doors. Use the key on the chest. Take the goblet and the map piece.

4 Skulls: There is one skull each on either side of the chest. The third skull is on the left side about halfway back. The final skull is all the way on the left in front.

8 Pearls: Open the clams with your knife and take the pearls. One is all the way on the left. One is just below the starfish in the middle-left of the scene, and one is just to the right of the starfish. Continuing to the right, the fourth is on the bottom in front of the wood. The fifth is way in the back up on the top of the furthest, tallest piece of wood. At the right end of the wood just before the chest six is on the top of the wood and seven is in front on the bottom. The final one is all the way to the right way down in front next to the crab.

4 Photos: All the way on the left is a green starfish. Halfway to the left is a yellow starfish. All the way to the right is a crab. The final photo is a big fish that swims by.

Extras: There is a gold bar down in front in the middle of the scenery.

Return to surface with $21600, 4 skulls, 8 pearls, 4 photos, 1 gold bar.

-== Scene 2: Defuse the Mine, 4 Skulls, 8 Pearls, 2 Photos ==-

Defuse the Mine: Use the plasma torch on all four corners of the main panel. Click to enter the panel. Slide the four pieces away at the very top and bottom. Pull the top and bottom pieces up and down. Slide the bottom left and top right pieces right and left. Slide the left and right pieces down and up. Slide the two circular pieces away on the left and right of the center away from the middle. Rotate the middle. Click on both green lights. It says you will get the third piece of the map, but you don’t actually have it yet.

4 Skulls: The first two skulls are above and below the mine. The middle of the scene has a clickable area on the left side of the wreckage near the “cockpit” area. The third skull is in there on the left side. The final skull is all the way on the right.

8 Pearls: Starting on the right, the first two clams are at the very bottom right and just above that. The third clam is in the middle next to the zoomable area. The fourth clam is in the zoomable area at the bottom. The fifth is behind the zoomable area. Six, seven, and eight are to the left of there, just to the right of the mine. One at the very bottom, one at the very top, and the last next to the mine.

2 Photos: Lobster in the zoomable area. Octopus all the way to the right.

Extras: There is a gold bar all the way on the top right, and another all the way on the top left.

Get the Map: This is confusing because if you look in your inventory, it says you have the map, but you don’t really. Unless you have the up arrow on the top to surface, you haven’t found the map yet. The map is in a box to the left of the octopus on the far right. It’s really hard to see. Click it and get the map.

Return to surface with $59400, 8 skulls, 16 pearls, 6 photos, 3 gold bars.

-== Scene 3: Open the Cannister, 4 Skulls, 8 Pearls, 2 Photos ==-

Open the Cannister: Use the plasma cutter on the two locks. Turn all the lights green by clicking on them. You can only click on them when the two lines are both on the side with the lights. Once all four on the outside are green, click on the middle one. You’ll get a hard drive containing money and the next map.

4 Skulls: On the very left, there’s one below the cannister and one on the very top above the cannister. Be careful not to exit the map when you click on this one! On the very right, there are two skulls about mid-level. One all the way on the right, and one most of the way to the right.

8 Pearls: Starting on the left, there’s one on the upper-right. The second one is on the very bottom (hidden behind your nose if you’re all the way to the right). The third is just to the left of that and the fourth is below the sea turtle. Five is to the right of the cannister. Six is below that way down in front. The final two are to the left of the cannister.

2 Photos: Take a picture of one of the squids, but it has to be a really big, close one. Take a picture of the turtle.

Extras: There’s a gold bar down in front directly beneath the turtle in the weeds.

Return to surface with $91200, 12 skulls, 24 pearls, 8 photos, 4 gold bars.

-== Scene 4: Explore the Ship-Wreck, Find 8 Rare Coins ==-

Click on the ship. Get coin #1 on the right. Remove the two beams and enter the ship. Use the plasma cutter on the far wall and continue on. Get coin #2 at the bottom of the screen and continue on. There’s a cave-in.

Look around with your mouse. Get coin #3 on the right side and continue on. There’s no coin on the next screen so continue on. Get coin #4 on the left and coin #5 on the bottom and continue up the ladder. Get coin #6 on the left and continue on. Get coin #7 on the left and continue on up and to the right. There’s no coin on this screen so continue down and left. There’s no coin on this screen so continue ahead. Get coin #8 on the bottom and continue up the ladder. There’s no coin on this screen so continue on up the ladder. There’s no coin on this screen so continue forward.

Get the locking wheel on the bottom left. Use the plasma cutter on the bars across the door. Turn both knobs until they click and won’t turn anymore. Use the locking wheel on the hole in the middle of the door. Continue on.

Why did someone log into my [work] computer?

Now just to give a little background notes.  I work from home two to three days a week.  This means that my dedicated work computer sits idly for little grubby hands to fuck around with.  Mind you, I lock the computer, but this cannot stop all.  Oh no, it just makes it worse.  It just means that the people that should know better don’t.  Follow the bouncing email chain and now the suffering that it has caused me.

EMAIL TO TECHS AT MY COMPANY

Hello,

I come in this morning and see that administrator has logged into my computer.  Why did someone log into my computer?  Due to this, my outlook is now corrupted and getting the following error when trying to create a new mapi profile:

“The time limit for logging on was reached while waiting for system resources.  Try again.”

“MAPI 1.0 [000004C2]

I’m trying to figure out how to resolve this now.

REPLY FROM DIRECTOR OF IT

That was me.  I was testing a new app.

IT DIRECTOR
MY REPLY TO ALL TECHS

Does the new app hose outlook?  Did you uninstall it afterwards?  If not, I would like to know what this app does to stem any other issues I may be facing.  There isn’t much on google for the errors that I am receiving.

PS: What is the point of a lab if we don’t use it.
Seriously, why is the director of IT using my computer to test shit?  He has his own computer.  A matter of fact, he has 20 computers at his disposal to use, no reason to touch mine.  So now, my outlook is completely fucked up.   I am trying to repair outlook to see if that will assist in any way.  If it does not, I’ll be forced to do an uninstall and reinstall.  I’ve spent 3 hours trying to resolve a problem that should of never happened in the first place.  The worst part?  None of this labor is billable.  I could be doing things that can contribute to my bonus rather than cleaning up other people’s messes, ON MY OWN COMPUTER?!!!!

Escape the Car Walkthrough

You’re trapped in a car.  The timer is on.  How fast can you escape?  Pretty fast if you have this walkthrough.

1. Go to the backseat and get the screwdriver.  Examine the console on the bottom, remove the cigarette lighter and grab the key.

2. Go to the frontseat and use the key on the glovebox.  Take the batteries and electrical tape.

3. Use the screwdriver on the panel underneath the steering column.  Connect the Red, Blue, Green, and Gray wires and use the electrical tape to cover the connections.  (these wires are found in the booklet found in the back seat ceiling, openable with the knife)

4. Open the front console between the seats and get the flashlight.  Combine the batteries with the flashlight.

5. Go to the backseat, click below the seats to look at the floorboard, pull back the right mat, and take the knife.  Use the knife to cut the two pieces of tape holding the middle cushion to the backseat and remove it.

6. Enter E40 on the console and enter it to get into the trunk.  (this code is found on the dashboard E = empty gas and 40 = speedometer)

7. Use the flashlight for light.  Use the knife on the left taillight to get the ignition key.

8. Return to the front seat, insert the ignition key, and press the trunk release.

9. Return to the trunk and escape.

Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 3 Review

The latest installment of the flash game franchise Super Crazy Guitarman is here, and it’s better than ever.  Here is the link to the game, hosted at HallPass:

The music is good, but I really liked the video game music that was in the last version.  The sequencing is outstanding, though, and really gets hard in the later songs.  If you enjoyed the previous editions, you will love this one.  Here are the songs in this edition:

In  Your Eyes by Verax
Chaos Within by Tatsu Takahashi
The Instrument Song by DTG
Nobody Else by Noise Pollution
All Day Comfort by SWiTCH
The Fade by Setu Firestorm
Lick Up The Honey by AQUILA
Train Wreck by Noise Pollution
Speedfreak by Eliminator
Mars bars and Mentos by yapperface
SWiTCH vs Evil-Dog Round 2
Plan A by Nick Crockett
Betrayal of Fate by Goukisan
Asshole! by Evil-Dog
