Sheepy Walkthrough (sorta)

February 25, 2008

I love this game! It is the best game EVA! The game? Sheepy!

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/425993

Ever have troubles falling asleep? Try sheepy!! The game is counting lovable sheep! The highest count I got up to was 60 sheep. This game is not the best game to play when you need to do other things. It involves your full attention! Great game.

The tips I used was to count out loud for the white sheep and super sheep. I then would count on my fingers the amount of times a black sheep appeared. Then at the end, subtract the number of black sheep there are from the count. Simple right? Try it and find out!

If you have any other tips, feel free to share!

Phantom Mansion – Indigo Walkthrough

The next game? The next walkthrough? Sure. Phantom Mansion -Indigo!

Link here:

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/426543

Note: I will play this game as much as possible. If you know how to get past a level before I do, feel free to share it with everyone!

Hop Frog Level

Move the box to block the dwarf guy into a corner so when he takes the key, you can get it back. Then there is another block at the end of the level, push it down into the gap. This level is very simple… :)

Cracked Floor Level
Make the path so you can come back. Grab the key and then fight the dwarf guy that mimics your moves. The first time he touches you, he takes the key. The second time, you take it back. Then proceed back to the beginning, open the door and make it to the end. Simple right? Aslo, don’t forget to grabe all the skeletons!

Kiss Chase Level

I might of gotten lucky but this is how I beat this level. The dwarf (apparently his name is Hop Frog) took my key and I got it back by pushing the box next to him. He did not move, so I was able to tag him. Not sure why this worked but it did. I then opened the door, which an extra skeleton appeared in the upper right corner of the screen. Use the box, drop it down and complete the level

Jest a minute Level

Use the metal box to block the dwarf. Get the key back from him and then push the metal box into the hole so you can cross. Knock the wodden box in the hole and then put the other two wooden boxes in the holes as well. Double back for the metal box and block the skeleton. Be careful, the first time I tried this, I was not quick enough and the skeleton went through my box and I ended up trapping him on the wrong side. Grab the key and finish the level

Claustrophobia

This level is a pain. I am not going to go through how to move the boxes for that will be a royal pain to do. I will provide pictures of the final outcome which should get you to where you need to go!

Room 1

Room 2

box-room-2.JPG

As you see where my guy is, you need to move this block to the beginning of the level to pick up the key.

Once you have this down, the rest of the level is pretty straight forward. Walk across the cracked floor in a manor that you will grab all the skeletons and then don’t block yourself when making it to the end.

Fool the Fool

You can walk through walls. Try all the walls until you collect everything. At this time, the dwarf will attack you. Lull him into the upper right hand corner of the screen where there is a bar. Get him to walk in there and then he is cornered. Finish the level and you are off!

North East South Jest Level – pending

Unable to create personal folders in Outlook after uninstalling 2007/installing 2003

February 21, 2008

I did this for a user and received an error when I tried to create a personal folder.  I don’t remember what the error was, but it had something with unknown in it.  Sorry for being vague.  I then found the following on a forum but didn’t quite work for me…

Rename MSMAPI32.DLL found at \Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\ to MSMAPI32.BAK. Perform a detect/repair of Office 2003 via add/remove programs. The reason I’m asking you to do the above is because it is a known issue that this file doesn’t get removed when uninstalling Office/Outlook 2007 and isn’t compatible with the previous versions of Outlook.

So I modified this a little bit more.  I renamed the 1033 folder under MSMAPI to 1033.bak.  I then did a detect and repair and it re-created this folder with the proper configuration.

Good luck!

“the operation failed. An object could not be found” error in outlook 2003

I have a user that has two PST folder that point to the same PST file.  She is unable to close the second PST and generates the above error.  I know from the heart of hearts that all I need to do is create a new outlook profile and everything will be resolved.  I am lazy though and do not want to reconfigure her exchange and personal email accounts.  I did some digging and noticed that some forums had a registry hack!  Of course, they didn’t know what they were doing, and I would like to think that I do… (I don’t but I like to think that I do :) )

HKEY_USERS\
S-1-5-21-11235*****-*********-**********-****\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\
CurrentVersion\
Windows Messaging Subsystem\
Profiles\
Outlook\
<15 different numbered entries>

At this point, I went into each entry looking for one called “personal folders” in somewhere in the REG_SZ.  She only has 2 personal folders, and I found two folders with the personal folders in the REG_SZ so I assumed that it was talking about them.  I figured I would delete one and then the problem would go away.  Of course, I backup up the registry entry first (ALWAYS DO THIS WHEN FUCKING AROUND WITH THE REGISTRY) and poof, it went away.  Hopefully she will not experiance any of the side effects that occur by doing this, but I really don’t care!  The resolution of course if more problem occur is to re-create the profile.  I figured this option can’t lose…

Good luck!

Goblin Defense 2 Walkthrough

Do we have a good game to provide a walkthrough for?  Of course we do!  The game?  Goblin Defense 2 of course!

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/425403

This game has the same look and feel of many games like it before, but what is not to like about these games?  Well lets get into the knitty gritty shall we?

In the beginning levels, I focused my money in speed.  The faster you can shoot the arrows, the quicker the units would fall.  That was my thought process anyways.  Then, when three arrows didn’t stop the Goblins anymore, I invested some capital into Damage.  Continue this process until you start earning more money than you can spend.  At this point, invest in the Wizard Turrent.  This weapon is great because it can take out some of the closer units while you are focusing on the farther ones.   Keep your health up, for you do not want to have your archers die on you!

Continue along this strategy until you have upgraded everything.  At this point, there is no savior, and the archers know it.  It is their job to hold a fort that will eventually be consumed by Goblins, but the question is when!  Good luck and happy killings.

That is my strategy, what is yours?

How to configure Cannon iR3570 to scan to email

February 20, 2008

Now, I have configured a iR3035 to Scan to Email without a problem.  I had corporate add the ip address to the exchange server to allow for SMTP relay and then I had the copier point to the exchange server for SMTP relay.  That should be the end of it!  Nope.  I had receieved the following error:

TX/RX Incomplete Transaction OK Error

This annoyed the hell out of me and out of desperation, I unchecked enable DHCP on the ip settings.  Poof, it worked!  There is no reason why the two were connected, but they are!  Well, at least that is another scanner that can email!

Dress my Babe 6

The next game on the agenda?  Sure!  Dress my Babe 6!

 http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/423983

The secret to this game is to wait.  The more it runs in the background, the more money you get.  Here is a breakdown of how much doe you get!

- 5 min ($1000)
- 10 min ($2000)
- 15 min ($10,000)
- 20 min ($15,000)
- 30 min ($18,000)
- 45 min ($25,000)
There are more secrets to this game but I haven’t been able to do any of them yet.  If you know how to do one, please share!  Sharing is caring!

You feel like a pedophile when…

Ok so lets start off with, I am on a business trip up at Cape Cod.  Everything is great in the world and the skys are blue.  I love swimming so I figured I would hit the pool for a lap or two.  The problem here is that the pool is not your standard pool but a wave pool.  Who swims in wave pools?  Little kids.

Not just your ordinary little kids, I am talking between the age of 5-12.  Of course, there were a couple of hot 16 year olds to look at.  And a few smoken moms, but in the end, if you didn’t have a kid you didn’t belong.  Once the wave pool started and 12 year old boys started bumping into me, I figured I better bail before someone really thought I was a pervert.  Normally I don’t care, but it was glaringly obvious!

I thought I better check out the hot tub instead.  Big mistake!  The hot tub had a great view of the wave pool.  Now, I am the only person in the hot tub, staring into a wave pool full of kids, and that smoking hot mom.  She had the biggest titties, but I digress.

My last ditch effort was to go into the sauna to not be perv-life.  This turned out to be the biggest mistake.  Here, I had view of the wave pool, but it was designed in a way that no one could see me.  This means that I could stare at kids (or hot mom.  I really liked her boobs…) all I wanted and no one is the wiser.  What a weird setup.

If it was not for hot mom, I would of bailed the scene a long time ago….

Undefined’s Protector Walkthrough

February 13, 2008

Well I have been disappointed in the game front until I stumbled across Undefined Protector! It is awesome!

http://www.kongregate.com/games/undefined/protector?gamereferral=protector

As always, this is a work in progress. I will post as far as I get per each stage. My strategy is not always the best so if you have a better way, feel free to add. If it is good, I will add it in the post with your name associated with it. I am a big fan of giving credit where credit is due!
Purple mage – electric
Blue mage – slow
Red mage – Splash
Green mage – poison
Dexter – critical

Homegard keep – 10 waves

Put two defenders up front and had three mages in back. I focused leveling up on the defenders and then hit up the mages. This worked well for all waves except for the bats. The defenders cannot hit flying objects.

Village of shaven

invest in red mages. I placed two red mages in the front and one in the middle platform. Ad more red mages as needed. With the red mages, you shouldn’t have a problem with this stage

Village of skipper

Invest in red mages. Red mages work well for undead beings. When the weakness is grey (I am assuming sword and that nature…) invest in dexters. With the combination of red mages and dexter’s you should not have an issue with this stage

Shoreview Inn

You should not focus on any one type but scatter them all across the field.  Find out what the next wave’s weakness is and focus on that.  In the beginning, build units that the wave is weak on and as the waves go on, upgrade units that the wave is weak on.  You keep that up, the waves will fall down!

Team Fortress 2 voice chat for PS3

February 12, 2008

So, I finally got my hands on Team Fortress 2 for PS3.  The problem is that I can’t get the voice chat to work, or nobody’s using the voice chat.  I can’t figure out which.  Here’s some background info:

In the settings, VOIP is enabled.  When I press the triangle (voice) button, I just get a little bubble with an exclamation point in the lower right corner. I’ve tried games with the star next to them, and games without the star next to them.

I don’t hear anyone talking, and nobody responds when I say anything.

So what gives?
